Yes… because of the new age change and them shortening the amount of time that Missionaries are in the MTC they moved back all the release dates of the Missionaries (at least here in Angola) back by a week.

Hey, I just wanted to tell you sorry because on Facetime we were talking about when you guys were watching the video of me speaking in Portuguese and you said that it sounded like the language they spoke on the best two years and when you said that I kind of shot you down and said no that is actually Dutch not Portuguese! So I just wanted to say sorry because I did not really realize until afterwards how I said it and I realized that it may have been a little bit rude. I do not know if that made sense, but I just wanted to apologize to you!

Thanks Mom for all that you do for me! Your love and your support and everything that you have been sending me! I really do appreciate it! Is there anything I can do for you? I realized that you have been breaking your back to try and do anything you can to help me and I feel like I have been way too selfish and self centered and just really carrying about me! So now it is my turn to ask what can I do for you and what can I go break my back over to help you? I really just want to help you any way I can. I have realized that me being here in Africa away from my family is not just hard for me, but it is hard for you as well, if not even harder for you!  So what can I do for you and the family! ?

…Could you tell Sister Levi that I got her letter on Thanksgiving day and then I got her Christmas card on Christmas eve and I really enjoyed reading the letters she has sent me!

So this week we met with a family that is married and has three kids! They actually found the church in Portugal and went to a baptismal service and I think went to church as well and even met with the Mission President about 10 years ago! They are a really happy family and really need the Gospel. They seem so ready for it, but it is strange to me why they were not baptized already, also they are really receptive to the missionaries and really like us and they like the church from what they know. So I feel like there is some underlying thing for why they were not baptized already, but we have not figured it out yet. We have only sat with them once and when we tried to mark another appointment with them, but were not able to. I feel like this family could be awesome members of the Church and leaders, but I feel like something is stopping them. The husbands name is Victor and the wives name is lioneth, so if you could keep them in your prayers this week. We are hoping that we can sit with them again this week!

Thanks Pops for everything that you do! The work here is going slow in our area, but is starting to pick up little by little as we keep working hard! We are trying to really figure the Lords will here in Viana C.

Christmas Eve

Yep I got all three (packages) today at the Christmas party that we had! It was a miracle because several Moms sent their missionaries packages, but I was the only one who got any packages today!! Thanks for the packages!! I already put up the Christmas tree!!

I will try and tell you (all the miracles) tomorrow. It would take along time to write and every Miracle built upon one another so I will try and tell you tomorrow! (It took me six and a half pages in my big Journal to write all the miracles and things that happened in two days!)

(FaceTime at 8am) is the plan, but if for some reason I am not able to please do not worry! Hopefully everything should go well, but just incase something happens don't worry!!

Thanks so much Grandma for the Email!! I really do thank you a lot because I obviously miss you guys and want to be with you guys for Christmas, but one thing you said was that I will be making memories here that I will never forget! That really hit me and tomorrow Christmas morning we are planning on going to an orphanage and playing with the kids their! Anyways after reading your letter my attitude about this Christmas season really changed! Because I really wanted to be home with you guys, but now I just want to go out and have the best Christmas ever here in Africa helping the lives of other Children who have not been so blessed to have a family like mine who they can spend the holidays with!!

Mom! (answers)

If you want all the details for areas then it is Luanda 2B -Rainbold, Lubango A -Davis and Borden, Cassequel A - Hansen, and Viana C –Chatwin

I have not got a package yet, hopefully they come next week.

(That family that is friends with an Elder) are not members so it probably is not them, but we are going to go to President and Sister Thompsons house, so I will be able to use facetime. So I will try and facetime you at 4.00PM MY TIME! So I think (I am not sure) it will be 8.00 AM your time. So just make sure your ipads are on and your email ready just in case we have a problem and we need to email you.

Yeah (my camera memory card) is supposed to be a Christmas Present from me to the Family! So maybe you guys can watch it, (Christmas morning!!) for the first gift of Christmas before I facetime with you, that way if you want to comment or ask any questions about the videos or anything we can do that when I facetime with you and we do not have to waste time watching it during our facetime time. So I will use facetime unless we are having some kind of difficulty then maybe we can email you or something and get a skype session set up, but it should be facetime.

Pops! It sounds like Becca’s team is going to be pretty good these next two years! It looks like they are really cracking down on them! Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :). You still do not cease to amaze me! With work and everything that you do for are family I just want to say thank you for all that you do! I am so glad that you are my dad and even though some people think you are pretty scary! :) You are not a scary person to me just one that is full of love and cares about others especially his family! I are going to have to finish serving in Anogla First (before I can bring all those orphans home, if you want to adopt them!!! :)

I did not here about the kids in Connecticut! That is really sad! That is great that the church has been their to help talk about Heavenly Fathers plan for each of us! Looking on the better side of the experience I wonder if that will help bring anyone to the knowledge of the true gospel. I sure hope so!

So Saturday and Sunday or crazy days I cannot even express apart of the Miracles and crazy things that happened in the past two day!! Remind me to tell you about these past two days when we do FaceTime because it was pretty crazy. Elder Chatwin may have written home about a little bit of it. I am not sure if we are going to do email next week or not because we will talk on Tuesday I think we will but I am not sure. I love you so much. Elder Tilley
